I don’t want my son to join Islamic State!

Brad, who intentionally tries to meet new people, met a man named Mohammed, who was an engineer in Dubai. Mohammed was a new father.  He was concerned and love his young son, and he didn’t want him to turn out like many people in the Islamic State. 

Brad explained that he, along with his wife Mary, might not be able to help him raise a child in the way of Islam, but that they had raised three children themselves according to the teachings in the Holy Book, and that they could advise him using that. Mohammed was grateful for any assistance and agreed to listen. 

During several visits both Mohammed and his wife, Miriam, heard the Great News and since then Brad has seen a marked difference is Mohammed’s attitude towards Islam. He has grown angrier and angrier with the religion and refers to Muslims as “those people”! Mohammed was among the many to lose a job because of Covid but was able to find a new one. That job was only seasonal, however, so before long he was forced to look for another job. Brad and Mary prayed in Jesus’ name that he would find another job and two days later Mohammed had miraculously found a new job. 

Mohammed gratefully receives Holy Book verses from Brad daily, although due to Mohammed’s work schedule, it’s hard for the two of them to meet regularly. 

Prayer Requests

• Pray that the Holy Spirit would continue guiding Mohammed and his wife, Miriam, closer to Jesus.

• Pray that the answered prayer of finding a new job would show Mohammed that God cares deeply for him.
