The Challenge

Grace is from India.  She is a manager in her office in Dubai.  She was taking a special evangelism course at her international church where she was challenged to share the Gospel.  Grace is a serious follower of Christ, and she took up this challenge.  

Jin-Ae comes from Korea.  She came from a very different religious background than Grace.  Jin-Ae was raised as a Buddhist.  As she settled into her work, she came to realize that her struggles and insecurities that she had in her home country followed her to her new home.

Grace is Jin-Ae’s supervisor.  Jin-Ae noticed that Grace seemed to have a peace and a kindness that she found spiritually attractive.  One lunch break led to another of Grace sharing her own story and the Gospel of Christ.  During one of those lunch breaks Jin-Ae with Grace by her side, prayed to receive Christ.  Two weeks later Jin-Ae joined Grace at church for the first time as a new follower of Christ.

• Pray for Christ followers in the UAE will take the Great Commission to heart and rise to the challenge.

• Pray for new believers to grow strong in their faith and share their story (testimony) with their friends and colleagues.
