A Holiday Conversation

A Christian lady has visited a local Arab Muslim family’s home for each of their holidays during the past 6 years.  She has always entered their home, full of ladies, and showed them honor by sitting and conversing with them during their holidays.  However, she had never had the opportunity to share Good News during these visits.

This Christmas season, she stopped by their home to give them a plate of Christmas cookies.  She was invited in to sit with the matriarch and a couple grown daughters.  They asked if she would explain her holiday (Christmas), and she proclaimed the Good News of Jesus to them.  After politely listening, they indicated they had not heard the story of the Gospel.  Then, they continued to plead with her to become Muslim.

Pray for these ladies, and many other Arab Muslims, to hear and understand the Good News of Jesus’ incarnation.  Pray for God to graciously work in their hearts in order that they may believe and be saved.  Pray for Christians to be encouraged in Christ and not grow weary in proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus.
